I completed my pre order and received the email confirmation 12:02am, and my delivery is 5-10 Oct... how come its like this

anyone notice iphone 15 pro (or ios17 problem maybe?) ringtone is abit too quiet? when preview in setting>sound>slider the sound is quite loud and okay. but when i test it with phone call the ringtone sound volume is "noticeable quiet" compared to preview in setting

Yep this works very well. The only annoying thing is some of the banking/finance app will then detect you are on different device, and reset your app - some of which requires you to call the bank to get it set up again. So when you have some free time, check your banking app because it will be frustrating when you need to use it immediately haha.

Quick Transfer was rather painless. Amazingly I didnt have to key in all the passwords for email accounts, etc. Everything is pretty much intact.
And somehow now I got extra 30gb of storage space. Setup both my Yoodo eSim this morning as well. Thats it, kautim

after direct transfer to new device, most of Banking Apps work but only 2 app which is Cimb Biz Channel and Rhb App need to call the bank to deactivate old device and then scan new QR code. This took me almost half a day to it as the Bank CS took very long to response.

some bank apps quite troublesome

i using HLB, StanChart and PBB. HLB and PBB can easily deactivate from old device and activate on new device. HLB is the easiest in my opinion, just wait 1 hour cooldown time can use app authorize. PBB need to wait 12 hours.

Where else StanChart quite troublesome, need to call to obtain temporary secure pin. Then after activate need wait 12 hours cooldown time.

I just asked in PBB thread, they said call is the easiest. I will call shortly.

Was on the call with Apple for 40mins, was told that internally the delivery date has changed from 5-10 Oct to 6-11 Oct.

the guy told me due to Apple's new carbon neutral policies, they are now shipping their iphones through sea instead of through air, directly from china.

Also apologize that their system did not update me because of some error, and told me as soon as the phone reach Malaysia, my card will be charged, invoice will be generated once phone is passed to local courier (this time either DHL or Yamato)

Ask him what are the chances of me receiving it by this week he hesitates to say anything, but still inform me its possible if the phone arrives by today.
