The trade in price for Iphone 14 pro max in Machine and Switch had dropped significantly as compared to Iphone 13 pro max during launching date.

So if i were to buy it via Apple Online, is there a slim chance that they may deliver on the 28th instead of 29th or diedie the courier will only deliver on the 29th?

Imo optical zoom is good. It is something tangible. It isn’t like the 12pro and pro max back then about sensor shift optics and better low light which is soo subjective. Plus now is titanium frame and the pro max is now lighter as well.

I did not like the pro max then cause it is really heavy. It is also no joke and if you are the type that only use three fingers to support the weight of the phone.

Nope. The earliest is 29th, the launch date. Same goes to telco sets. I used to buy from Digi and already arrived in the courier warehouse near my house 2 days before launch date but courier service was not allowed to deliver. There is a huge sticker smacked on it with warning, must only deliver on the launch date xx date.

The price jump memang not worth dy, what you get?

A phone which is slightly lighter
A phone with better ergonomics with Curved sides but we eventually use case
A slightly better processor
A slightly better camera system
A not so useful feature which is the dynamic island
Type c and action button (these two are welcomed la)

Our 13 pro max kan, just change the battery and we are good to go dy. imo the 15 pro max is a good phone tbh, but not worth the upgrade.

Btw some of you guys mentioned about 5X lens good for concert. But then in concert hall would be a bit dark and would the iPhone actually use the 5x lens instead of the main camera ? Since this always happened. Anyone tried before with 14PM 3x in darker hall?

i rmb trade in my 13 pro 256gb at switch for 14pm still got around 3.5k. tis year mmg drop a lot, sell online much better value.

The latest trade in price in their website are not yet reflected for the launching date price. Should be will further reduced again on 29 September. Not sure why this year drop so much.

last year still got a bit more add on value, if the phone is at a very good condition they will give another 150 on top of the trade in price
dont know this year still got or not. drop a lot maybe due to the battery complaint?

better sell it online , trade in via shop seems not worth it

what's wrong with buying via instalment? I bought all my previous iPhones via installment, 36 months some more. can claim back up to rm300 from company. easy decision. not everyone that buy through instalment can't afford an iPhone.

The last time I backed up my phone to replace my iPhone 12 Pro Max battery, my eSIM information was still intact when I restored everything from iCloud. I guess it won't work the same when I change to a new iPhone, right?

If same iphone, it is still intact.

If change to new iphone, following is the option you can transfer eSIM to new Iphone

1. Usually, during the iPhone setup process, you will be asked to set up the eSIM. You can simply follow the on-screen prompts to activate the eSIM.
2. If you did not transfer your eSIM during the setup process, you can go to Settings app > tap Cellular > choose Add Cellular plan to transfer eSIM.
3. In addition, if your current iPhone has installed iOS 16 or later version, you can transfer eSIM to new eSIM via Bluetooth.

I think some said it is not working for our telcos. No worries, I will drop by Digi Centre tomorrow since it is near to my office.
