I wonder if Apple will give us a replacement or are all batches going to end up like this. It’s quite unacceptable for only a week’s use. I have an old leather case from my XS Max which has actually torn apart over years of use, so this seam is actually a cause for concern “tearing” so early on. Have any of your FW cases been affected? Otherwise I’m actually enjoying the fit and feel of the FW case so far.

I think it’s hard to get a replacement, looking like the way it was designed, obviously a bad finishing…they will probably improve it next year..

Have you considered subscribing to iCloud? 200 tb for rm11.90 and 2tb for 44.90….also can use across all other Apple devices….personally for me though I’d prefer having the storage in the device itself, and trying to reduce/avoid paying for subscription plans..it’s a good option though.

2TB is overkill, and I don’t remember having 1TB plan…yes 44.90/month is not worth it, would rather just get bigger storage…however if they have 1TB for around rm20, that’s a good choice and I’ll just get the lowest storage for all my Apple devices…more seamless too if using cross devices…and the storage also comes with Apple Music/arcade/fitness..

Agree, in general anything involves subscription is auto rugi in long run, unless you really need it..but for those who aim for higher storages + upgrade iPhone on a yearly basis the loss will be bigger than paying for Apple plan…also harder to sell and depreciate in value..

Not sure if Apple Store trx have the same refund policies as Apple stores in other countries…hopefully the same…a lot of people might abuse the leniency though, and slowly lead to restrictions…

Yes because switch their official accredited resellers…telcos and other shops like directD are not…your case would’ve been abandoned if it’s from third party resellers..

yes, accredited resellers means AASP, only the big ones like switch machines ITWorld etc, telcos are third party... basically if AASP reject our issues/requests, we go directly to apple to lodge complaint and they will intervene and solve it for us..but apple cant do anything if its third parties..unless you make a bigg big bigg fuss and they start looking into your account, and if you're long timer with good track record ..then they mostly will solve the issue coz dont want to lose a good customer..

just noticed torch on 15PM is not as ‘white’ as the one in 14/13/12…anyone notices the warmer bronze-colored torch?

Only on zerolution, if yours is normal contract, device fully paid, telco has no rights to lock your phone despite not paying bills, as long as your device is fully paid if you don’t pay your bills, they can only bar or suspend your number. I have clarified this a few times in the past, hence when you sell your device, you need to show that the device is fully paid, that’s the difference between normal contract vs device installment i.e zerolution.

And if you are on zerolution or similar plans, after 24 months (or whatever months you opt for installment = 12/24/36/48) your device is considered fully paid off, any unpaid or late payment to bills can only lead to number suspension or termination, coz the device is paid off..

Yea since his account was incorrectly tagged as you mentioned, I believe it was also wrongly flagged in the system as an easyphone device, hence the imei lock.

It was under consumer law that once you paid fully for your device, your contract only ties the number, and not the device, this should be applicable to all telcos across the board. If telcos lock your phone after device fully paid, you can bring this matter to tribunal court under consumer protection act, and you will win your rights.

has anyone tried transferring whatsapp from iphone to android 10? (using huawei and does not have android 12)...dont want to use any paid third party software, prefer to use the feature that comes with whatsapp..
