I'm assuming you meant Airdrop? Hotspot not working due to telco or you suspect device problem? I think too early to have fault. But since less than a year can claim warranty.

same here i feel like the hotspot on iphone is unstable compare to my old samsung.. same spot in the ofc.. big dissapointment.. 

Should wait for 17. Seriously nowadays really no pt to upgrade phone every year. Especially nowadays phone is so powerful.
