I installed hoda yesterday and it has no overlapping issues..maybe the early batches has overlapping bezel issue..was tempted to go amazing thing but have more trust in hoda..pic below for ref

Also I'm using amazing thing minimal 6.6 ft drop durability.. pretty happy with it and it covers the action button... but has a magsafe ring (which I personally like it). I use this for 14 pro max last year and absolutely love it too...didnt turn yellow the first 4 month, not sure after that coz i switched to apple case..

I’ve been using hoda clear for over 5 years and pretty happy with it…I heard about the overlapping issue and kinda took a risk based on the trust, maybe early batches have issue due to early manufacturing, they might have refined the products for current batches..

doubt you can get it anywhere now, unless you camp their website or outlet, like i went to switch last saturday for the event, the guy bought a 15 PM and 15P outright stock, both natural titanium 256gb lol...literally 1 day after release he still manage to grab it outright...and it was at their flagship sunway pyramid store..

RM99, they are everywhere, machines switch ITworld, ALL IT etc etc..even telco stores maxis digi celcom but i recommend doing it at the AASP, anything they will replace and install until perfection/satisfied...

i think the shops also carry cheaper variants, RM69, cant remember the brand though... anything cheaper then need to get from gadget shops like ninjaz/ gajeto etc..

yes should be the same, retail sells rm89 and you can get it everywhere..

I've used ringke and the quality is very different... amazing thing is much more premium and wouldnt turn yellow as fast (ringke turns yellow after 3 months)... its slightly thicker than ringke too..

just get it from shops near your place, you can find it in machines switch All IT, harvey norman etc etc...

im ok with their silicone but you need to go darker tone colours, bright silicone will be smeared off pretty quickly making it ugly and cheap. leather is the best though, if it patina's well..but dark brown leather is a safe choice regardless how it patinas overtime..im not going to even try the fine woven, my friends blue fine woven became greasy and used just after 3 days...

Ringke is ok, slim and light but turns yellow real fast….I prefer amazing thing coz it’s very sturdy and buttons are tactile too…it grasps the phone tightly and it feels safe on hand..but it’s rm89 about 50% more than ringke..

Oh so about double the price..then overall ringke could be a better buy xD

Rm99, can get from most shops that sells iPhones..

Not sure about it but it’s a very subjective thing, the protection should be more or less the same as spigen ringke and etc,or slightly better.. and you might also crack your phone using otterbox or mous if unlucky..

If you are ocd I won’t recommend fine woven, it’s for people who pay and don’t mind disposing it after a while, or those who changes casing like clothes…you can consider silicone case, the pink one is nice if you’re a fan of it

Actually it’s not too bad buying outright from AASP, take 15PM 256gb for instance, maxis subsidize 1.6k for 139/month and if you switch to hotlink 60 per month you save 79 there x 24 months = 1.9k. Plus the freebies you get from AASP and most importantly the after sales from AASP/Apple is above everything else..buying from Apple upon unboxing if you see a hairline scratch they change for you 1:1 right away without questioning (of course subject to stock), with telcos, good luck getting it replaced…buyer’s remorse law apparently not applicable for third parties…learnt my lesson.

Have to be honest after all these drama my hype is pretty dead, the wait, the long hours of talking and defending etc… already low hype coming from 14 PM to begin with…thank god it’s over. Now it’s time to relax, coffee first:-

13 PM to 15pm still got the dynamic island hype

although I get what I wanted finally, but the entire experience was so exhausting and disappointing... I've started moving out everything from maxis, used to have a principal with 2 shared lines, and a home fibre 500mbps which comes up to around 450/month with Maxis.. just moved 2 of my share lines out to celcom, and switching home fibre to unifi next week...leaving only my principal 139 with Maxis for the next 24 months, and that's it.

bro as long as your phone is under normal contract not zerolution then theres no concern from buyer side, even if you default they will just bar your number, device is fully paid so by law you have full ownership of the device

Cool.. but wouldn't it be cheaper if your wife go under you as share line rm48/month instead of going principal? in long run 24 months you save much more no?

Should be able to get 4.2-4.5k, I just sold my 13 PM 256gb for 3.6k, pristine with 90% BH..

I’m using pro max and can feel battery drain quite fast now…comparing 15 PM on 17.0.3 vs 14 PM on 17.0.1

Only 2nd day on 15 PM so could be running indexes etc, hopefully…giving it benefit of doubt..
