Do you mind sharing your charging habit? 

Always update latest firmware for security patch concerns. Why are ppl so obsessed over the battery health? Just utilize your phone to the maximum capacity so you get your money worth. 99% won’t make your phone slower.

This is like my friend who drives 40km/h so he would save petrol. Use his car less so it will have less wear and tear…. Total facepalm

My charging pattern is similar with yours, just I do charge overnight and to 100% 

Soon you will switch to new phone, don't worry about the 1% 

I thought iphone will auto charge to 80% then stop and then continue charging in the morning until full? I always leave my phone to charge overnight before i go to bed. Well, my battery life is not good la 😅

Collected my new 15PM, went through a roller coaster to get the replacement. Learnt a lot from this experience and concluded that this will be my last purchase from third party (telco), will only purchase from AASP mostly for post sales reasons.

Need to toggle ON this option since my 14P batt life is 88%..
i can safely say less than 10 times accidently overcharge…

But i like to charge whenever i can to ensure more 90% batt at most of the time..

Came in a brand new box. My case quite complicated, went up all the way to apple’s head of department highest tier (apparently their CS got many tiers bla bla bla), initially maxis reject and give issue cos telcos are third party, not apple’s accredited reseller, hence the rejection (funny thing even with maxis safe device they declined the replacement), when HOD intervene then all issues became no issue.

Telcos don’t get phones from Apple, they get from specialised distributor (they call it HQ)

Conclusion, if buy from aasp all these would have been solved on day 2. Apparently Apple has a special ‘code’ when thrown out, the authorized resellers will not question further, straight replace 1 to 1…not applicable to third party…so lesson to me, buy from AASP or apple..

oh yea from brightstar...well well, im done with telco for good, my last 2 years tied contract on an iphone... moving forward it'll be apple store or aasp... downgrade telco plan etc is the way.... will still need to pay more than telco contracts but wont be much...+ the peace of mind and good after sales..

Same here, although I did charge my 12 Mini overnight via a MagSafe stand - that Standby Mode so pretty, hahaha. The battery life was horrible so I could never unplug it after charged full and left overnight - I won’t have enough juice to last even half the day, hahaha.. I charged the phone at every opportunity I could get - when sitting at my desk at work, on a MagSafe car charger, etc. So the battery level never fell below 60% and it was quite a liberating experience. So yeah, don’t really care about battery health and cycle count… Besides, the Pro Max has more than enough juice to get me through the day.

Was told not to use third party cables by Terry who runs Dr. I-Device. I still do though

Most of the standard advice we see online normally is to maintain charge betwee 30-80% for Lithium Ion. Which is actually very inconvenient to manage. 

Your usage habit of 18/20% - 90% charge is much easier to maintain.

Will start to practice as such with my 15 Pro Max now.

Not sure if my habits are good but for my iPhone 12 I bought since launched in NOV 2020, the phone spent most of its time stuck with the magsafe charger at its back when I work on my desk during MCO. Today the phone still has 92% battery health after 3 years of usage!

Plan to have the same charging habit and see how it goes for my 15 Pro, thus I have bought a few more Magsafe chargers for the office and different rooms at home

Seems like people ordering later are getting it earlier than people doing PO, doesn't make any sense.

Depends on the reseller you order from, model and storage. So it all boils down a little bit of luck.

Anyone "downgraded" from Pro Max to Pro and regretting it?

Still using my 13 Pro Max and sometimes I feel like it's still too big but I want the big screen, battery and better camera?!
