Hi , anybody using this saving account with mcf enabled ?
Would like to ask about withdrawing the foreign currency using the debit card oversea. Searched on their web and still not really understand the charges.
Plan to convert some JPY SGD and THB and maybe when travel to those country will withdraw using the debit card.
Question is apart from the withdrawal charges , does the debit card withdraw from our SGD balance or MYR balance ?
Hope to hear from someone who try this before.
Thank you 🙏

Hi. I am using HL Pay&Save account. I think it is the best in the market. This is actually my salary account, i think HL recently upgraded the product - now it has 11 or 12 currencies.
Basically, i just move my normal savings to currency wallet (same account!). I  just came from BKK - so happy to use the THB i save in my account on holiday. all i did was activate my existing debit card for overseas spend.
you know... i can even track my THB spending on the Connect app. Super convenient. The exchange rate also damm good.
i very much recommend. - u can apply at ant branch i think. maybe even online (that one u need to research a bit)

Hello TS, do you have any luck trying with hlb pay & save?

Someone actually approached me and proposed to me to use hlb pay & save for oversea transactions.
It is said to be far better than wise. (?)

Hi , i still not yet try the function as the staff over the counter also unable to confirm the actual usage lol. Afaik wise will deduct the currency that you are using but not sure the pay and save does that or not.

Soul Seeker, Sycamore never trust banks even though they tell you they got good rates cause most of the time they are BS you..

Use merchant trade if you want keep foreign currency. Otherwise use bigpay.

Once mymy and youtrip is available in Malaysia, can use them instead.

Claiming to be good is not unethical .... as long doesnt say they are the best in town.
