Anyone here stayed for few nights at any OYO hotel branches?

Is it safe to stay there? how the cleanliness? is it dirty or clean?

it's just branding. Everything else depends on the specific hotel.

For many of us it's just no frills room for ons with hooker.

some oyo rooms are quite cheap esp during weekday (ie, as low as rm60 for whole day)
but if the room is getting limited, suddenly the price can raise

They just joined together all those cheap hotel that doesn't have enough crowd and help them get enough customers

Stayed at one in Bangi for work. No windows, air cond temp can’t be adjusted, water heater also 50-50. If you just need a place to crash and you’re not fussy, then it’ll do. Cleanliness is acceptable, no dirty floors/insects etc.

What more can you ask for at that price range?

Yes.

>> Door knobs was so loose, brought a screw driver to screw it back.
>> Leaky toilet.
>> Advertised have WiFi, but gotten a deadzone room.

>> Bed was hard af.

None of these hotels are safe. Any gangsters or robbers can just walk in break Into your room and fak you up. The hotel entrance is always open with 1 Banggala behind the counter and 1 Banggala "security" hiding in his tiny office. What's stopping robbers?

Stayed few times at wifey’s hometown. Was ok I must say. Clean rooms, ac was decent, water heater etc.

It’s a decent place for you to crash for a day or 2.
