I'm seeking for genuine review from those who have used BMW's Advanced Car Eye2.0

I've read a lot of mixed review in regards to this dashcam, so I would like to get some feedback from those who have used it.

-Video quality compared to mainstream dashcam like 70mai?
-Any GPS in the module, eg: speed & coordinate display?
-Video playback / parking surveillance, any good?
-Long term reliability & lifespan
-Smartphone connectivity, can it be easily connected to smartphone to download recordings?
-Any other comments?

The unit is coming with the car but I'm just wondering if I should request for something else instead if it's not useful.

i thought Eye 3 coming to replace the 2.0... the quality is so so in my opinion.

if you check those dashcam discussion, many good options available

personally i am using DDPai Mini5 4k for front and rear in my G30... so far ok no issues with the wiring kit

Unless its given free, dont bother with it

I heard of the 3.0 coming to replace the 2.0 too. I think that's the reason they're giving the 2.0 away with new cars now


It will be given for free.. But I'm just wondering is it better to ask them to replace it with something more useful or heck even a cash rebate. Lol..

i'd ask for cash rebate

if for free then it an OK dashcam

if not its actually overpriced other than having the BMW logo on it lol
