2008? Are u mad? U haven't heard of the infamous EP6 engine plaguing the 2013 models? Only the 2019 models don't this problem anymore.

I would go for 2008 just for better FC (5L/100km vs 7L/100km) and looks.

x50 is notorious for bad fc, but it's the price you pay for the high torque!

from my testing both have similar ride and handling

Shouldn't be comparing the oldie 2008 up to 2019 vs X50. So I assume its the year 2022 Pug 2008.

I test drove the X50 and found it to be a little wobbly at high speed.
I'm pretty sure a Pug wouldn't be but I have not driven it.

But a Pug is an adventure in hell once you acquire it so I tend never to recommend one unless the owner is mad or hell bent on owning it.

X50 should be compared with HRV turbo, but anything which is turbocharged is addiction. It's the price you pay for addiction.
FC for turbos is only good on highway and low throttle loads.
NA is for all rounder.
Don't get me wrong. I love turbos but sometimes it's not wallet friendly when you go the need for speed.

Since Peugeot under Bermaz and with 5 years free service and warranty, maybe new Peugeot has improved compare with previous generation. What do you think?

buy Peugeot should always look for a 2-3 yrs used car with remaining 2 yrs+ warranty. Go check mudah, 2019 Peugeot 2008 only selling around 50k+. you can save 70k. lol

EP6= Prince BMW-Peugeot 1.6 turbo.

This engine is not available on any of Peugeot's CMP based models, such as the 2008 and the 208. It is however, still available in their larger vehicles such as the 308, 3008 and 5008.

The new 2008 is only available with the 1.2 puretech.

If you can afford a peugeot, fc is the least of your worry.

At least x50 resale value is alright.

Means you dont need to beg used car dealer to take your car.

Go ask 308turbo owner if their car is

Oh nevermind
