Hmmm...no one replied


Btw, just curious. How tall are you? The 249 isn't very tall. The seat height is listed at only 780mm.

Do not think you can put on any lowering kits short off (pun not intended) replacing with a shorter rear shock and dropping your fork stanchions on your triple tree. You could also run slightly lower profile rear tyres. You could also set your rear preload to the softest to increase sag. You could also shave the seat some.

But be aware, all the above could have adverse handling effects , may cause clearance issues or suspension bottoming out, and comfort issues.

Unless you are seriously height challenged, it may be worth while to get a more experienced rider to show you how to manage a taller bike, if you are new to riding.

Thanks for replying. I already forgot about this but problem solved already. The kit not for me but for another customer. I think they use versys 650 lowering kit.
