Guys, be careful. Received a call from +017 892 1740, a so called Maxis staff telling me that they will waived my bill for 2 months and asking me to give them TAC to authorize payment of RM200 to Geng Gamer.


And they even really dare to send you a fake Maxis staff ID for verification.



1st red tape is he spoke with Indonesia accent.
2st red tape is asking for TAC which shouldn't be.

I could hear from the background there are a lot of people they were engaging with with the same 2 months waive offer. Hopefully, they didn't get scammed.

If you didn't engaged them in anyway, it is very likely a scam call. If you whatsapp them on their maxis whatsapp business account, this is a normal way they authenticate you before engaging into a chat.
