The voltage it will show 14.3 when the engine is running but 12.3 when the engine is off. Why ?

Impossible bro. I just buy this in Dec last year. 9 months old only. Recently stop riding for 3 months cos sick . When turn ON engine saw this battery light. Is it because the keyless remote system keeps draining the battery cos I didn't start the scooter for so long ?

Can start. Just worry half way the scooter stop running. Many times the remote cannot be detected by the scooter. ADV got many flaws. I'm surprised BSH did not do a recall. The double stand is too sharp , Crack my floor. I did not expect the battery to drain so fast within. 3 months. I wonder if bring to fomen to recharge the battery.

Just now ride to Tesco Lotuss carpark & idle let the engine charge the battery for around half hour. Not going to change the battery if the scooter can still start. It's ridiculous since not even 12months old. Brand new ADV. But giving me worries. About the remote unable to start the engine. I believe it's a engineering design flaw but typical of BSH management they will sweep under the carpet. The remote problem started right after I got the scooter. Need to press the button long long for the scooter to detect the remote syncing which is very annoying & trouble some especially at night or raining. Power of dreams. Semangat impian bullshit.

Plenty of problems. Waste of money to buy. The only thing good about ADV is whether you are tall , short , skinny, fat , old , young you look very good riding this scooter.

But why the battery light red color is ON ? Why ?

Cos I don't want to hurt the feelings of ADV owners who buy with their hard earned money.

No. I'm going to impian x to ask. If not satisfied I will just bring to the fomen shop nearby to recharge the battery. Very ridiculous to have such problem with a 9 month old scooter.

No owner will complain long long about their bike laa. Cos will affect the resale value. You think you are polis & this forum is balai ka ? Must tell you everything ? Bodo stupid.

1. Remote cannot sync with the scooter. Engine cannot start eventhough LED & meter is ON. Happens too many times. Very annoying problem. The knob has to put back to "O" & press the remote bottom button long long for both to sync & Engine to restart. Suspect is design flaw. But typical of BSH. No action. No recall.

2. Double stand Crack my floor. The right side is too sharp causing my floor to Crack.

3. Engine loud like grass cutter sound. My previous 2015 PCX Engine sound smoother. Even after change EO & use 97 also same.

4. The U Box is narrower than my 2015 PCX. My Givi helmet had to place facing forward else the seat cannot close cannot lock. Even though honda claim is 28 liter but is narrower than my PCX's 25 liter. PCX 25 Liter is wider can fit in Givi full face helmet.

5. If I put hot water bottles inside the U Box, the water will turn cold very fast. On my old 2015 PCX, the water bottle will remain hot warm for at least half a day if the seat is kept closed.

6. The seat can be pry open using hands to steal your wallet & phones you keep under the U Box. Happens to me once lost about rm200 inside my wallet taken by the thief.

7. Engine no power. Not enough torque. Twist the throttle ON fully also the pickup very slow to respond. Very problematic when at round about situation.

8. When brand new for first few weeks , the exhaust when hot had a funky burnt plastic smell that will go away only after a month or so.

9. Parts are expensive. A lalamove driver crash into me & broke my ADV front fender but refused to compensate me. I ask Impian X. They quote me rm120 including labour. It's just a piece of plastic.

10. The left hand side glove box with the phone charger is ridiculously smaller than my 2015 PCX glove box. I tried transferring all the items from my PCX but cannot fit inside the ADV glove box.

11. After 3 months never ride. Battery light indicator turn ON. Suspect battery low cos of the keyless system keeps trying to detect my remote even though the scooter is OFF. Lousy auta half baked technology from honda. Old school keys 🔑 ignition is better. My old ex5 & PCX even after 6 months the battery never give me such problems.

12. The seat is too high. I'm 1.8m yet I have trouble touching the road with both my legs at traffic light stop. This scooter is not suitable for short legs people. PCX seat high is much more comfortable. I can rest both my legs touching the road with PCX.

13. The seat material is too sticky. If I want to adjust my bum I have to stand up. On my PCX I can just slide my bum to a more comfortable position cos the material is slippery smooth without lifting up my bum while riding.


14. The honking sound is too soft too low pitch like birds chirping. Really ridiculous compared to my PCX which is loud & clear.


15. The only thing good about ADV is whether you are tall , short , skinny , fat , old , young , you look very good riding this scooter.

16. Should have sent my old 2015 PCX for repairs instead of trade in to buy this ADV. Wasted rm11k to buy something I dislike within a year. No YouTube reviewers are going to give you such honest reviews like myself cos they also afraid to offend the mighty cash rich BSH of Penang.

ADV is 2k more expensive than PCX. If no user expectation issue , I might as well buy a cheap Honda beat & be satisfied with it without any issue.

It's a Honda. But quality like sampah. And it costs me 5 figure in RM. If those YouTube reviewers are honest instead of lying, I might not buy ADV. Power of dreams social media advertising.

You are right. Yesterday I ride to Tesco lotuss car park & let the engine ON for 30mins. Today no more the battery indicator. Luckily.
