Hello guys, recently received an email and sms from a wierd company named Igloo (or iglooinsure or igloocare).
I don't know what's happening, they got my Shopee account name and phone number! By the way, checked all balanced couple of days, nothing wrong with it. But what the H going with this? I don't even know what I've subscribe...dayum


Anyone has the same case like me?




Update: They not only send 1 but 3 email....(=0=)


Update 2: It's my fault....I didn't found out that I bought an insurance when make the payment......T.T

Yo guys, thanks for you all reply. I investigated the only link's address and it doesn't harm anything as I didn't key in any data and information...It's my stupidness and curiosity by the way
But I texted to the seller who sold me an electronic devices, and they said that they didn't buy any insurance and so on. So I had appeal to Shoppeee, waiting for their reply.

Shopee elektronik device insurance

this insurance is borderline scam. the insurance box is ticked by default. i can see people unknowingly buy this protection. ez money.

When we make a payment for electronic devices (such as phone, lappy and pc so on), Shopee will "help" (more like skem dy) us to apply for that insurance BY DEFAULT. Buyers like me, didn't pay attention it will bought it unintentionally. See what, I spent an extra 40++ for a 1 yr insurance (Or so called a warranty la).

So everytime you make payment, should double triple confirm that u didn't tick dat stupid thing. Or you will be like me...
