Thanks again for the advice. Followed up with the hiring manager and they mentioned they've put the hiring on hold(?) It wasn't specified what was on hold due to a typo but I'm guessing it's referring to the hiring.

Kinda bummed seeing that job scope was within my area of expertise.

Will keep a close eye on the company but also stick with my current job. Thank goodness for stable income.

It would be difficult to find an employer who's willing to agree to my expected salary.
