Applied for HSBC CC for rewards from Ringgitplus. CCRIS Bersih 4.0.
Rejected today.

Had a HSBC CC 3 years ago but cancelled (used less than a year) after getting goodies. Now HSBC butthurt?

Ringgitplus has this offer for HSBC. Spend 1k rebate 800.. plan to buy Cuckoo.

But HSBC CC hotline only open 9-5 which is a joke. Even their Platinum dont have a special 24x7 hotline. By right cards above platinum will have their special number.

You got wait 6 months before applying again? Usually that's their so called "cool down" period

Banks have tighten the approvals for loans, credit cards, etc now. They filter your profile to max to ensure you are truly eligible.

Hsbc very picky with customers. Their focus is high net worth customers. They dont waste time with 9-5 income earners

Platinum ? It's equivalent to normal CC card adi

Yup around 3 to 4 months max around 6 months before applying for new one after initially getting rejected.

They have rejection records in CCRIS.

Platinum not gold leh. Gold dont deserve but plat should have a bit special la. Somemore hsbc is quite strict.

All banks punya plat card is pleb card. U 2” new to cards is it?

Nowadays banks market platinum as the most entry level d.

I applied HSBC via ringgitplus like 5 months ago and was approved

To date still haven’t received my CC.

Just blacklist HSBC tbh, looking at their fb comments and experienced it myself that their CS is dogshite

That could be the issue. No more room for extra credit limit for their card.

I recently rejected one from CIMB though, they offering 87k limit.

0.05% of 174k would be 8,700. If you add 8,700 to your DSR, then you would know your actual DSR that the bank see.

Try reducing the credit limit of your other banks before reapplying.

Or could be they know u are Ringgitplus scalper and only apply for the free gifts and simply cancel card. Then they tension fedup then permaban u.

Hsbc has a practice rejecting application from ringgitplus.. Success rate higher if you apply with their people or through hsbc's website directly
