My Bose earphones just recently died

So I thought of getting an AirPod pro 2, the funny thing is that in Carousell people are selling it used as cheap as RM3xx

If the serial number checks out with the airpod

There’s nothing I should be worried about am I right?

So the best way forward is to pair the earphones first and see if both serial number tally?

There are brand new ones going for RM5xx as well and sealed

Anyhow i bought one at RM500 but manatau it was a fake, so returned it and the seller accepted..

Anyway best way to tell from the fake i guess is that malaysia's packaging is very different than the ones all shown in carousell..

I was crazy that the fakes could connect to iphone seamlessly as well

Yeah got the AirPods Pro 2 from Senheng at around 6xx 😅

The only reason why I’m changing to AirPod is that I saw in the future that we might have live translation and I’m quite looking in to it but also at the same time don’t want to spend too much money as I have a kid now🤣

How times have changed , my previous buds were Bose qc2 and sennheiser true momentum

Haha yeah but i tend to enjoy buying used stuff, my current iphone 13pro and apple watch ultra2 was also purchased used..

Easier to track with serial code etc to see if it was authentic

the airpods was a very tricky situation.. Before the purchase the serial number check online said it was valid..

Then when i had the airpods in hand i double checked again on the serial number, they say invalid..

So that was when i decided that i wanted to return the airpods
