i am looking at the airpods pro 2
on sale can get at around RM850 from marketplace

how long is the battery good for a heavy user?
AppleCare+ cost RM129 for a total of 2 years warranty which include the batt
Are we able to check batt health on the airpods like the iphone batt health?

so by near end of the 2nd year, just bring back and complain batt suck and hope to get a replacement? 

Hi guys, I have this issue not sure anyone can advise me.

I get my AirPods Pro for my sister birthday on 18th Aug 2024 via a gadget shop in PJ during their warehouse sales.

3 weeks later, my sister told me the AirPods casing cannot hold charge.

Hence, i go check with Apple TRX and apple said the unit already out of warranty. I said impossible since i just get it 3 weeks ago.
According to Apple database, the unit sales date was Sept 2022 and via a shop in singapore.

Then I go back to the gadget shop, the shop already closed for good (all branches also close down)
In this situation, is there nothing else I can do?

Yup, the unit was sealed. Brand new, until my sister refer the unit serial number at Apple site and discovered it is out of coverage.
Go back to the shop , the shop said warranty only cover for 14 days due to their promotion item.
I said how this can be. Hence, I file a dispute to consumer rights.
After follow all the process , the shop no longer operate 

Hmmmm, come to think of it, dont think have SIRIM sticker

I got it for rm499 from mobile chain called Mobile 2Go.
It seems the chain already no more

Normally found it from facebook market place, ads , telling original and selling in cheap price, they also can send to you via carrier for COD, you can open and check the item

So I thought of getting an AirPod pro 2, the funny thing is that in Carousell people are selling it used as cheap as RM3xx

If the serial number checks out with the airpod

Anyhow i bought one at RM500 but manatau it was a fake, so returned it and the seller accepted..

Anyway best way to tell from the fake i guess is that malaysia's packaging is very different than the ones all shown in carousell..

I was crazy that the fakes could connect to iphone seamlessly as well

Yeah got the AirPods Pro 2 from Senheng at around 6xx 😅

The only reason why I’m changing to AirPod is that I saw in the future that we might have live translation and I’m quite looking in to it but also at the same time don’t want to spend too much money as I have a kid now🤣

How times have changed , my previous buds were Bose qc2 and sennheiser true momentum
