Wow, my Apple Store app AWU order status (which was slated to be delivered between 26 Oct to 2nd Nov) has switched to “Preparing to Ship” from “Processing”. Anyone with similar delivery dates seen the change in their Apple Store AWU status as well?
Hope that they are shipping earlier like my AirPod Pro 2 which arrived today, 2 days ahead of the promised delivery date |

QUOTE(Evirober @ Oct 13 2022, 10:28 AM) Am contemplating the same here, using S5 batter health is at 88%. Still contemplating and considering I am using S5 and have been trying to use it for whole day health data tracking including sleep. With the new Watch OS, the Apple Watch, though late to the game, has been the best in class in terms of accuracy of sleep tracking. I must emphasize that the Apple Watch is a fantastic device to have if you have heart issues (like I do). The ECG feature as well as their ability to detect Atrial Fibrilation is literally a life changer. You know that they are on to something when I noticed my cardiologists wearing Apple Watches, hahaha It is a challenge to wear the S5 for the whole day and I have to charge it twice, once in the morning for 1 hour and once in the evening for 1.5 to 2 hours to get a full day’s worth of tracking. Also, the S5 lacks temperature and SpO2 sensors as well. So data collection is incomplete. My plan is to use the AWU as the main daily driver and switch to the S5 for a couple of hours when I need to charge it. I’ve tried Garmin Fenix 7 which has a legendary battery life of 24 days between chargers. And while it is a fantastic sports tracking watch, its heart rate monitoring is not very accurate and the sleep tracking is totally off. If you want to see a detailed scientific review of smart watches, I would recommend subscribing to The Qualified Scientist channel on YouTube. There he does quantitative analysis of the different watches.
