Its so easy to set up cellular, via the watch app on iphone, 1 tap and just fill your ic number in the digi popup page. Ayam done setting up, takes longer coz have to update to 9.0.2 first, coz my aw6 already updated to that version yesterday.

Now fully synced and cannot wait for first 10km tommorow morning.

I will test run workout + apple music via cellular and airpods and see how many percentage it eats

Just wanna share about batt life/usage,

WOke up at 6.30am batt 100%, start using it 7am at 100%. 12pm goes down 87% drain so much, charged it till full 1.30pm start use it back and till now still 100%. Seem awal2 batt not good, after that so tahan one.

A little update on battery.

Ayam got up this morning with 76% battery from 82% (about 7 hours of sleep tracking)

Went on 1 hour  run with everything on the watch stock settings + cellular (10km).

Ayam noticed gps doesnt flunctuate like normaly does on my aw6 when passing under huge line of trees. But anyway the watch averages out the reading anyway so that doesnt matter ayam guessing.

During the run I did not listen to apple music (will test that in tommorows run) only received 1 whatsapp message during the run. But nevertheless the cellular is enabled throughout the 1 hour run (no phones nearby)

Now it is sitting at 58% which means it uses about 18 percent of battery.

So far, ayam noticed the speaker very2 crisp and clear as the voice announcing my pace every km. And the best thing, 1 extra line of info during the run!

So those like me who pre ordered on 7th October, we got bullied by machines. Sigh.

Today ayam did 1+ hour run (same 10km+ distance and time as yesterday but today, ayam listening to apple music all the way via cellular (no downloaded music)

Total battery consumption 20%, compared to without streaming music, only18%. This is only a 2 percent difference. Ayam confused. Ayam tot streaming music via cellular suppose to be hard on battery

Went to KLCC and dropped by Machines to buy the Power Adapter for the watch. Saw a few people coming in hoping to see the Ultra but none on display yet nor available.
The only Ultra in there was the one on my wrist.

Sleep tracking is automatic. Didn't get much data on sleep when using the AW3, but the Ultra is data rich.
Needs a little getting used to wearing it to bed, quite chunky as compared to the AW3 which was okay.

Mine is 22nd onwards, shall wait then.

Alpine green, have to get the S and the 49mm looks big for my wrist, guess I’ll get used to it

haha its always in my purchase list since announced, just that I'm not rushing to get it like the iphone so didn't PO.. thought of waiting for the display to see the real thing, but it is what it is.. walked in and got stock so just grabbed it lol

but I think I prefer the midnight ocean over alpine..

And yeah, come to think of it, I might just give it a go. The freedom of not having to carry the phone with me is intriguing and tempting to have! Having a large 6.7” iPhone in my running attire pocket isn’t exactly the most convenient thing.
