Used my UAG straps instead of the straps that came with the Apple Watch Ultra


Spent about 20+ minutes at the Apple Store setting up the watch (because there is wifi and data there)

I don't understand why anyone orders from local resellers other than for easy payment schemes. Orders directly to Apple is very secure.

Collected the Watch from Switch just now. Surprisingly they have few Ultra in stocks for walk in customer. Help my friend get a yellow ocean band one , mine is white ocean (pre ordered). Redeemed Switch’s SURE points for 2 x RM45 to offset the balance.

And be careful with the smaller sizes of the Alpine Loop. There is a high chance the Titanium buckle on the Loop will scratch the top of your AWU titanium body - when you are taking out the Loop from your hand (through your hand). Even for my M size Alpine Loop, I need to be very careful as well. L size would be better but then I think for Asian wrists (on standard slim build Malaysian), it may be too big. Haha.

Still contemplating whether to add Cellular or not. At Rm18/month by Maxis, it would be burning money if it’s not gonna actually be used. Most of the time my iPhone is with me, even during my runs outside. 🤔

Yeah thats true, but still more comfy than the Alpine Loop for sure.

Did you completely push in the second holder into place? Because once you adjusted (elongate) it, you need to lock it back into place so the whole piece is tight.

My Ocean band is quite snug actually, doesn’t wiggle at all. Only the Alpine band wiggles.

never used a case or tempered glass on a watch before and not a fan, but this one is really good..IMOS sapphire..comes in 2 parts, the frame and tempered glass..
