Screw myself. No more Titanium for 41mm worldwide. I still think wanna buy from SG, and delay my purchase of AW7 to get AW8 version. No fate with Ti version.

It is depends on your need. I want It health feature, so cellular is not useful to me.. in fact the mic, and speaker also not useful to me

Hmmm… this time DHL delivery no longer travel from SG to CN then MY. It was from SG directly to KL ( no using flight but lorry now?). Now it is at KL sorting center, so i guess maybe mine one will be arrived earlier than 18/10.

DHL finally learned that Malaysia is just a bridge away from Singapore. 😂

From my past experiences buying from Apple Online, normally within 3 working days once it reach the Subang airport. Fastest i experienced is within 2 hours upon clearance of custom in Subang airport.

Haha duno delay how long but apple states that i will received by 14th. I tot tomorrow can reach as already reach subang but now delay plak

Normally the delay wont takes long. Most is like 1 day from my past few years experiences buying direct from Apple Online. Let's see how it goes for this round.. my first time getting Apple Watch~

Is this the only watch that can predict ovulation based on body temperature?

I ordered from the Apple store website on 9 Oct and was given the estimated delivery date of 13 Oct on email (altho the apple store app shows 14 oct lol). But my tracking is via gdex and the latest update is only outbound from Singapore haha. Think can get by 13-14 oct ke if like this?

I think so, hopefully they are able to deliver by this late evening since it had passed clearance and processed for delivery from 3am morning.

This one I directly access DHL official website and key in the tracking number there.
Then there's a settings to select what stages you would like to receive notifications and through which email/SMS.
That's how i received my email from DHL.

Yes, the first generation to have this temperature sensor, comes along with the debut of the ovulation cycle tracking software.
AW8 and Ultra have these features.

This is my first AW,Here are somethings wanna ask..
1) can I off the wifi (mine is just gps model), what will be affected if I do so? Since I m using it for health tracking, not for email, message, calling, off the wifi maybe can save some battery?

2) I want to show the heart rate on watch , but the watch face only show the heart rate icon, not the number, am I missing something in my settings?

do note some features require wifi to be on (mask on FaceID unlock for eg.)

but tbh the power draw from wifi/BT on is very very low. you could squeeze extra minutes in battery life at most, not so worth the extra change

Hmm... not using watch to unlock the phone.. since the phone now can unlock with mask on.

No more Nike edition because all watch supports Nike watch face already.
You can opt for Nike sport band if you purchase from Apple Online.

anyone tried or considering ordering AW8 with braided solo loop?

saw good reviews on the loop, and considering getting this band as my dual usage band for sports and work

Im considering the braided solo loop earlier, but ended up went for the silicon solo loop. With solo loop, I dont get the bump at the inner wrist from the band overlapping bulge.

Really need to use some strength to put it on because of the strong elasticity. Need to stretch it wide open from the size of ur wrist to the size of ur palm.

But overall, i follow the recommended size from Apple and it fit nicely to my wrist.

I believed the braided version is less strong on the elasticity compared to full silicon. Quality and comfort wise is indisputable. Apart from the weight of watch that i get used to after period of time from wearing, i dont really feel anything with the band and tend to forget abt it.

The braided version look aesthetically more pleasing while can maintain the overall comforts and quality of the silicon. But take note that braided version tends to absorb water and sweat, so u need proper maintenance to keep it hygiene. Takes time to dry it as well after each cleaning. This is the reason i went for silicon, where it doesnt get soaked.

Just a little bit of sharing from having both aluminum and stainless steel for a night, the weight is stainless steel and aluminum have big impact in the wrist feedback.

Personally, I like the light weight of aluminum more, but the aesthetic and durability of stainless steel. Aluminum still a winner in my honest opinion.

Thanks for the model number. I'm waiting for the new one. I've been using the old one (white color) since May 2021 and it's still working. Definitely worth the money.

How was the white after so long usage?
Im concern with white turning yellowish hence i go for black.

I didnt get to spend much time to explore this yesterday night. I might wanna do so tonight, so literally we are on the same page.. haha..
This is totally smth new to me, and im stil learning what its capable of doing.

I use the measurement from Apple website. My wrist size is 140mm, and its on the low side of Size 3 (near to size 2). Snug fit but not tight.
I'll advice go with the Apple recommended size, no need for upsize or downsize it, unless u prefer smth loose or really tight.

i bought the sport loop type no size to choose from, i let my wife try later. just check apple store again and notice there are sizes to choose from for solo loops

Its available for RM10 monthly fee now for Digi Postpaid 40 since October 2022, which is weeks ago.

I just upgraded my plan from Digi Postpaid 38 to Digi Postpaid 40 just now, and with AirSim subscription, making my total commitment to RM50 only, excluded taxes and other chargeable add-ons.

If you are currently on Digi Postpaid 40 and above, you can activate the AirSim from Apple Watch app in your iPhone, no need walk-in to store. There's no configuration from their end, its more like an add-ons service.

What’s the longest day you use before needing to recharge the watch? Perhaps with low consumption mode?

Hi all, joining the club. Was using AWSE. Now give to daughter to use.

Replaced with AWS8 Aluminium GPS 45mm Starlight. Ordered from Switch 12/10. Pleasantly surprised with delivery on 13/10. Their website said 17/10.

After around 4days usages with my AW8 GPS model:

1) WIFI: After you off it, it will turn on after sometimes by itself (it has a button on control centre,). so im no longer off the wifi. Apple support page said only cellular vision are able to off ,but will auto turn on until the next day.

2) Watch face: No much watch face i can use to display the heart rate. some nice watch faces are not able to display the Hr, only the icon.

3) Heart Rate: i was from fitbit tracker before AW, so i thought the HR will be real time like Fitbit, but AW8 is not real time. It seem will start measures when you have changes on your HR like form sitting to walking, running, climbing staircase. Else it will only update after certain period of time ( the period is unclear, it could be 3minutes until 20m).

4) Battery: my purpose to hv this AW8 is all about health measuring, so i turn off all the messages apps, email and calls on AW ( im personally find notifications are disturbing, and i only check on phone when i want to do so). Only allow health related apps for the background activities & notification. i always on the "Always Display Mode" when i go out, but on the"theater mode" when im home, because seldom checking the time, and HR ( no heavy activities ).... with this settings, battery will remain 50% and above at night (morning is around 80% after wake up & sleep tracking).

5) Charging: from 50% to 100%, around 30-40 min.(im using my macbook usb-c adapter.) Satisfied with the charging speed.

As far as i know, Apple Watch cellular only supports 3 telcos in Malaysia, which are Maxis, Digi and Celcom.
Other than this, no AW cellular supports.

eSim is different thing. Its cardless sim for iPhone/iPad. Technically they should work for AW as well, but it seems Apple is restricting the access to AW for these 3 telco only.

Digi named the AW cellular as AirSim, and keep the name eSim for iPhone/iPad cardless/simless access.
