Clearing fee 0.03% and stamp duty 1.5 per RM1k .
If u buy share worth RM10k ur charges is around RM2X already .
0.05% brokerage normally is CASH upfront account only , which brokerage u using ?
And check ur contract note la , it got show how the charge come into it

And i think tat Clearing Fee shd be 0.03% standard .
Try ask ur fren he open what account for u , i think urs is "collateralised" not "cash upfront" .
If u using cash to buy thn ask ur fren switch the acc to cash upfront for u .
Lower brokerage rate normally only for cash upfront acc
