If u make 10k take city.

2018 version.. my experience is overall satisfied.. my only complain of course the cvt jerks during traffic jam.. but after get used to it dy u will know how to play with the pedal to avoid the jerks..

Sry, I don't know anthting about B40 car.

i wont say that is very thirsty engine

my avg usage at Penang island jam like sohai is about 12~13km/L

got this car since 2018 and the previous gen city.

persona drive better in the highway
city drive better in city.

rather take persona, its ugly no doubt, but a solid car nonetheless

Not idle start-stop system la, we're talking about the CVT jerk when moving at low speed.

If your end game car is b segment then city. If not then persona, keep the extra cash for better next car.

Honda City no doubt got some nice stuff compared to Persona, badge already menang. But City also have it's own issues, mainly NVH and assembly quality.

But you have to ask yourself is it (at least) RM20k nicer than Persona?

For me it's not, but you are free to arrive at your own conclusion based on your situation and preference.

if money is an issue, go to the one which is cheaper and offer you the same functionality and less problem. FC wise probably about same, or not use the money u save from for the fuel + yearly maintenance.

loan 3-4 yrs den u are free from liability asset and use that money for good in future.

Like when you are going very slowly (around 20km/h), you're not pressing the throttle or pressing very lightly.

Then you want to accelerate sikit so you tekan abit more, the car will jerk because the clutch closed suddenly, instead of closing gradually.

If you know how to drive a manual car you probably know how that feels.

Speaking of the clutching, I saw one of the 2022 Persona update called the Neutral Idle Control, which fully disengages the clutch when the car is stationary in D (with brakes) to reduce friction loss and save fuel during idling in D.

My reaction was....YOU MEAN BEFORE THIS THE CLUTCH DID NOT FULLY DISENGAGE WHEN STOPPED IN D???

i can feel the clutch is like fully disengage ..thats why it take time to slam in

maybe that is from their marketing team try to beautify the jerk "issue" become "feature"

your car got jerk is because for this Neutral Idle Control FEATURE to plotek your gearbox
