OP doesn't need 15k if buying second hand. Lower your budget to 10k, get a used ninja 250 from 2010 to 13, blow the balance on checking and maintenance.Need an opinion on this. Is this bike hard to maintain?Or you can just blow 11k on a 2016 model, still reliable and you have plenty of spare cash for accessories and first purchase maintenance if you still stick with your budget of 15k
You can also consider upgrade to bfull license and get a er6n since the upgrade and bike should be within 15k as well but take into account that maintenance for 650cc will naturally be higher than 250cc first.
