I have sold my property to a buyer and SPA signed in September last year. Lawyer has also receive a letter from management office stating that the total unutilised sinking fund RM490 (my portion) and stating that it is transferable to new purchaser.

Lawyer has also contact the buyer to transfer the stated unutilised sinking fund to me but till today i still didnt get back any payment from buyer after so many reminders given. What action can i take to claim the arrears of sinking fund?

Management office said they are collecting the money on behalf but not for them to refund sinking fund. Can i know which unit in government department should i go to?

Finally settled! My lawyer has helped to chase the agent and get the buyer make payment to me already.
