I just can't get over the bursting meat with superior soup and mi xian man, i never tasted anything something like that before. But that was when i used to eat pork 🤣

Tried the Mee Tarik at Jalan Sultan KL but that's nothing compared to GHN. Couldn't even finish it.

Please help suggesting some good halal Chinese soup to your fellow Malaysian here. Thank you!

I'm a Muslim btw, it just last time i didn't care much about my religion. Used to drink after work and eat babi for lunch lol. But somehow something changed.

Btw I just got back from Mee Hiris at Lalaport, will never going back to that place again. The soup taste like medicine 🤢

Nahhhh bro, doesn't mean it exists we should eat it. If like that then we should try eat human too la. For me or for us (Muslim) we believe there must be a reason why God forbid us to eat certain foods. It doesn't matter if you understand the reason behind it or not because it's coming from our creator. He is all knowing, He know what's the best for us. Tiber ceramah.

In terms of similar to Go Noodle house there is no halal equivalent. No way the combo of babi&arak&bursting pork ball can reproduced.

The best bet u can get are Mee Tarik stalls that are operared by CHINA MUSLIM and not local Muslims. Only then u got a closer taste to Chinese noodles.

Just curious isnt it already sinned coz u are craving it? And not to mention u are trying to find something similar but halal?

Just like vegetarians go eat vegetarian BKT made with flour that looks and tastes like babi is just weird?

Thinking of something is not considered as sin, but when you act upon that thought then it is counted as sin. And it will be a sin if craved for the babi alone la. But I'm craving for the whole thing, the whole journey haha. I'm looking for something similar as in the taste of having one bowl of GNH, but halal. But then only today i learnt that the soup got wine 🤣💀 So i guess that's a fullstop for me.

Not actually craving for the bursting pork meatballs really, that one i can substitute with ayam or daging. Also i prefer mi xian!!!!! Hopefully that one is halal too.

They used to have buffet tray of fruit n snacks ard lunch time for some branches. Love it. Not sure if they still have it.

go noodle house lousy soup taste but the meatball (processed food) is nice (but just same for most street siumai sold anywhere)...their concept is like fast food meant to be prepared by foreign worker

kungfu ramen at sunway mentari nowhere close to the lanzhou beef noodle and lanzhou fried rice i had in china yunnan...but in china there are also many subpar ones

Substitute pork with jiken is like replace butter with margarine. Wine enhance flavour. Without alcohol, some flavour is missing. Halal food can't be as good as non halal.

if attend chinese wedding dinner in hotel or halal venue the food most likely going to be subpar...but there is one exception i encountered before at ipoh convention centre

While you can find a replacement for pork or at least make a broth that is good/similar to pork broth using chicken. Finding a non-alcoholic replacement for the rice wine is going to be next to impossible.

I've tried GNH noodles without the wine before... its horrible.
