Hi all.. i am using DC motor...
Today my neighbor house got install new motor and i ask the guy come and help to screw the housing of the PCB board back to wall... when he open the housing he check battery and told me battery spoil already. So i ask him to remove battery since i was told the gate should be able to work with house electricity supply.

Now my gate can no longer open fully. After opening about 70% it will automatically stop. Both left and right gate same issue.

Anyone knows if somehow got settings i need to change?

I call back the guy.. he told me tomorrow he will try install new battery and maybe it will fix the issue... haizzz...

so update, and i learn something new today also...
actually, my previous battery apparently already kaput....i left it there and the gate works as normal...

but yesterday took out the battery and then end up the gate cannot fully open...

so today the service guy came and install the battery and my gate not works like normal again...

very strange, assuming if my old battery already KO (the service guy showed me, he shorted the battery terminal positive and negative and nothing happens), so it looks like the system needs to somehow detect a connection to the battery regardless if the battery is working or not?

i'll also try to take note now and replace it every 2 years...i was charged RM90... noted on the RM50 from shopee.
