Automatic Gate, How much do you need to install one ?

Hi guys.
My autogate recently only opens one side. I tried to troubleshoot and found out that the voltage was there around 6-12v when i try to open or close. I unlocked the lock and manage to move the door manually. Does that mean that my motor is dead and I can just replace that? I have yet to open up the motor to check.   Thanks of any response in beforehand! |
