It does seems that the Fagolli social media account is a little quiet for a while now. Anyone has any idea on whether they are still good on business point of view?
Automatic Gate, How much do you need to install one ?

QUOTE(dblcss @ Sep 30 2022, 10:12 PM) Hmmm didn't notice. Boss so kiam siap ask dealer not to throw price but at the end also throw price and ask dealer to move one side. Anyway they are still doing well seem their price are still the cheapest. Looking to install in few months time, just thought that if they are not doing well, might as well find others due to spare parts availability in the future. Dun mind me asking why u ask if Fagolli is still GOOD U got share kah? He He He. Even if not doing good their DC Moto is still selling like no body business and keep on increasing price that's why I prefer to sell Dnor Turbo 880 which is much better quality compare to DC Moto. We allow customer to change to Dnor Turbo 880 when they buy Fagolli Gate system for matching color with gate. Sample picture Fagolli with Dnor Turbo 880 https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=546564...465661383484153 Did asked whether you guys are the sole installer in this area (Klang/Setia Alam), they said there's a few. |

SLA battery goes kaput around 2 years plus.
Some of the board needs the battery power to drive the motor as the AC power is being used to charge the battery only and doesn't have enough output current to drive the motor despite converted down to the required DC voltage level. The battery is cheap about RM50 only from Shopee. |

QUOTE(dblcss @ Mar 6 2023, 08:39 PM) For us all are the system is the same as long install properly. If simply install system can last u a few months only then start to hv problem. So get an experience installer then will hv less problem. Even got problem at less the installer can solve it for u even some problem is not from their system but wiring or gate. Install everyone also can do as long follow the boss do a few and can go do themselves already. But once come to trouble shoot then hmmmm dun know already. Saw some of your photo for Fagolli installation, they allow you to swap out the Fagolli motor with DNOR in the package? Most important is choose which is within ur budget or ur requirement simple or more feature. We installed a lot already so far not much complain and a lot still come to use our service to install for their own or relative or friend new hse. Marked with JP should be a jumper configuration. The one with CN is connector probably where you could connect to something. Max liked this post

A friend used to design auto gate system. Looking at the BOM of the electronics, the margin is thin for the system manufacturer. A bulk of the mark up comes from distributor, reseller and installer.

QUOTE(acoop @ Aug 9 2023, 03:18 PM) what is normally the dimension needed for a trackless gate system, let's say BG, for a intermediate 2 storey terrace house, 22 x 75? What would be the rough price for it? The width really depend on the house design itself (some have wide letterbox, garbage box, incoming TNB supply). 16 feet generally allows you to open 1 side and 1 car can go in without opening both. Height usually they come in a choice of 5, 5.5 and 6 feet mostly. Of course you can custom them to any size you want. Price varies depending sizes, design, and vendor. But expect to pay anything around 9-10K for non Delux gates for the 14-16 feet wide. Delux and BG generally are much more than that. Jenn77 liked this post

QUOTE(jkfoong @ Sep 21 2023, 09:41 AM) Tried to swap motor, its working. If you think the wire is broken which I think quite unlikely, you can use a meter and do a continuity test. Of course you need some extra wire because the meter leads are not long enough.Tried to swap the wire in between left and right on the control board. Still the same side working only. I'm suspecting its the wiring to another side is broken. If i can move the door while unlocked, does that mean the gearbox is fine? |

All the autogate controller don't actually properly charge the SLA battery. Mostly just put a float voltage around 15-18V with a diode on the battery. That's one of the reason these batteries die very fast. And these SLA easily goes kaput once the it goes below certain voltage. So, if the mains are not around for few days, the battery will die as well soon once it dropped below the threshold and cannot be revived.

It happens usually if there was a power trip and it runs solely on battery. Maybe the AC connection to the controller is kaput. So, it runs on battery. But is the movement slower than usual with this 1 by 1 side closing/opening?

QUOTE(smon80 @ Jan 2 2025, 10:42 PM) Hi guy, I got this sliding gate issue. It usually has a resistor sense that is used to measure the current. When it hits the limit, the current will be at the highest. But usually this large wattage resistor is also the one that goes kaput over time as some are wrongly sized due to surge of current.Basically when open to end, can hear the huming motor sound before it was click cut off. When close it will also reach the close and huming sound as well. the huming sound goes about 6s before was cut off. My sliding gate dun have any switch trigger it stop. I wonder how the system knows when it need to stop the motor. |

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 24 2025, 10:06 AM) Sensor basically to detect something when open and close right, cuz im afraid some cats might pass by during close the gate 😨🔥😻☔🔥 The Fagolli motor (manufacturer of DC motor) has this sensor integrated. When someone past by when it is closing, it will stop. It is just an IR beam so I think it might work but the height of the sensor might be too tall for a cat. |

QUOTE(ItsJustheOne @ Apr 7 2025, 04:02 PM) Years ago, my father installed in his house those kind of typical autogate at double-storey terrace house, costed about RM5k-RM6k according to him. Many has copied their design although it was patented. You probably will get a few K off from their pricing with similar or exact design. The only thing with their gate is the black color fate after few years.I went few weeks ago to Delux showroom, an autogate installation to install at my house (landed terrace house as well), the salesguy quoted a whopping RM15k, almost, if I remember correctly. Gotta say their autogate designs are nice though. Any other cheaper recommendations for similar kind of looks? Especially the black color ones with some brown color hints that looks like wood in the middle (if i'm using the terms correctly). |
