Yes must add infrared sensor then only can set the auto close timer but make sure bring remote or block sensor when u r outside doing cleaning or the gate will close u outside.

It's not std auto close function mean u hv to add the optional infrared first then only can activate the auto close feature using the indoor wireless push button. Std set dun hv the infrared sensor.

If worry forgot close gate after driving out just add a third party wifi module can close or open online as long got internet service wherever u go. Use ur cctv to view gate open or close.
