Hi, I was quoted 1700 for auto gate + bearing. Is this price reasonable? May I know what's the function of the "bearing" as my contracted keep emphasize about it?
Automatic Gate, How much do you need to install one ?

QUOTE(alexleehp @ Jul 26 2012, 11:44 PM) i think if swing autogate better use the arm type, if the type consealed underground doesn't last long rite? i heard if powdercoat pain will last longer, else go for wrought iron or even stainless steel if u have the budget.... Added on July 26, 2012, 11:44 pmany recommendation on good swing autogate? Saw UniGate in ModernHomeFair in MV last weekend nice but very expensive... how about D'nor? Is it good? Other good swing autogate with reasonable price? I'd like to share about this DC Moto brochure that talk about different type of swing technology. 1. Floor Concealed Rotary type - water seepage problem but the rotary motor is simple and reliable. 2. Surface Mounted push pull type - no water seepage problem but complicated and high joint stress design. (slower operation speed) 3. Surface Mounted Rotary type - no water seepage problem and smooth operation speed. Number 3 is improved design that eliminated the water seepage problem & slow swing speed. Anyone is using DC Moto GFM-905? Mind to share your thought? |
