like many things, the OS id getting more demanding
usually so high due to win update scan or av scan or whatnot

the best is to chg from hdd to ssd.
ssd are cheap now.
like 200 to 300 can get 1 decent size
ur current hdd, can simpan
buy a 2.5 inch hdd enclosure, then u got 1 external hdd to keep your data
enclosure like 20 to 40 bucks only
