Thank you. How do I know mine have rolling code?

You hv to check with your auto gate installer. Also you hv to ask them what frequency the remote use. Not all use 433 mhz

I had tried 2 type. 1st one is called Sonoff basic. This one you put at the light. Hide it inside the plaster ceiling. 2nd type is Sonoff T1 wall switch which you replace the existing one.
*
The T1 switch requires a neutral line right? Usually our wall switches do not have this right as all are load/live wires? Any tips on installing this without the neutral line?

Yes, T1 need neutral line. You can pull one from nearby aircon or water heater switch. Another option is to get those switch which can use capacitor to replace the neutral line. PM me if you want to buy

Bro dun simply ask ppl to pull a neutral from aircon or water heater switch unless they hv electrical wiring knowledge. Some single phase DB break into two separate neutral for two section and link the life wire to the wrong neutral section then u get a shock of ur life that is just trip only so no worry. Now most new hse 3 phase is break into a few section so be careful.

Water can play around if not connect properly mostly lick and get wet only. Electric if you accidentally touch and lucky then get shock only but unlucky then u be 6 ft under.

replaced my burnt board with a new one from jln pasar

why is an external secondary transformer needed? is it to provide extra power for the motors?

Did you manage to install this by yourself? I bought the same board, now the CPU led is blinking and photo beam LED is on, gate not moving. The relays are working though.

It is working now. I didn't add the external transformer. I thought since there is the internal transformer, we no longer need the external transformer. Guess i was wrong.

Since the motor is not working but the relays are, i am assuming the external transformer is to convert the AC to 12/24V DC for the motor operation.
I think the internal transformer is just to power the 12V for the RF receiver. See this diagram of the L5000i board.

The transformer i added was connected to the old board. I am not sure of the model. Here is the picture of the transformer. The board on the right is my old board. The transformer is connected to the 6 white pins at the bottom of the board.

dear all sifu, need some advise.

Currently im using the swing gate wth old model arm. The gate also going to rosak soon because of rusty.

Look like the trackless folding aluminum gate with dc motor not bad. Any sifu are using right now? Appreciate if could share some experience on this.

Or can recommend some gate company pls.

Thank you very much
