i heard folding type is very depend on the straightness of rail and level of horizontal line. If any imbalance or poor rail constructed then will cause derail and roller not last long.

WD40 will dry up after a few day, Best is use black oil from ur car service. Try it out

All the best

Support this point. A bit more elaboration: WD40 is just used for cleaning in general, it'll dissipate or get absorbed in a while. It's never meant to be a lubricant.
So for those using WD40 for this purpose, sad to say it's basically useless. You can still spray it to eliminate dysfunctional sounds like squeaks, but do wipe it off and let it absorb properly after a day or 2. Then use a proper lubricant like suggested.

My gate DNOR installer do not encourage connecting the Open/Close Lamp function, saying that it will cause the circuit board to be damaged easily. Is this true?

When u install the Dnor System? For on/off the lamp the new Dnor board u need a relay to control it. So of course it's optional for the relay because it's not built in like the old board. Maybe best solution is just to say it's risky to add the function.

Anyway all the best.

Beware of Chuang Yee Metal Design. Myself and my other friend has engaged him for grille and gate. Gate..generally workmanship is ok but grille is pathetic. It is as if these 2 items come from different company. Even after measuring the windows twice, they can still get the sizes wrong. . And after many rounds.. it is still bad. So, beware.

Try this company: Valtronic Sdn Bhd

No 34 & 36, Jalan Indutri USJ 1/6, Taman Perindustrian USJ 1, 47600 Subang Jaya. Malaysia. Tel : +603-8024 0992 Fax : +603-8024 1993 Email : valtronic@yahoo.com / psloo@yahoo.com

I bought battery for only RM 25/pc (12V 7.2ah).

They do not install or do outdoor service. So you have to DIY and remove the parts to be repaired and bring to them. The have spare parts and repairs on the motor arms etc. Their clientele are mainly the autogate repairers and installers.

As for battery . its easily available at most electrical supply shops but you need to diy yourself. if not installer charge rm 150 -200 for labour + battery.

Shldn't be any problem with the built in light relay. We install dozen so far no complain. Maybe they are more expert that they face a lot of this problem.

Anyway all the best

For Dnor remote 2 button u can get anywhere as long 330mhz or 410mhz depend on the receiver with manual jumper setting. DC Moto have to get back the original because the original will look nicer ha ha ha. Can order from any DC Moto dealer.

Backup battery can get anywhere price depend on the brand itself. DC Moto original package doesn't come with any backup battery. Normally we add it in ourself.

Anyway all the best

For swing or folding u will hv three type of motor function rotary, screw or hydraulic.
Rotary will be like DC Moto left and right to push open and pull close the gate
Screw will be like Dnor and other arm type screw in and out to push open and pull close the gate.
Hydraulic normally use on very heavy and big gate for bungalow and factory

Piston haven't heard b4 yet maybe the factory come out with turbo charger motor. rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

We don't deal with casa ae mac brand so no comment on that. But for Dnor and DC Moto ball bearing or gear is inside the motor so can't really put grease ur self and for the outer layer not advise to put grease because after the wind blow and sand stuck to the grease become harden will make thing even worse.
