If you can be more specifics on what is the problem & what brand & type, it would be easier for people to suggest to you!

I'm not sure of the brand, one of the legs sometimes able to open the gate sometimes can't.
When opening or closing u can hear some clicking sound at the motor

Just introduce by gate installer on Gengate system. It seem new but if compare the spec with dcmoto, casa asia the dynamic and static torque seem more powerful. My gate is very big, so I was thinking of using Gengate Cause is more poweful.

I check dcmoto.my and siansys.net Gengate for comparison. Both seem similar but just some spec diff.

Any forumer using gengate system?

May be the problem due to gear worn off.

DC Moto and Gengate system actually is the same function only the casing is design differently. It's like comparing Honda Accord with Proton Perdana new model. But who would you go for if you got the money for quality, of course the actual manufacture that is Honda, right. Don't get me wrong but I prefer actual then OEM. I myself use DC Moto for 1 year++ since I've change my gate to folding type and it's working find for me without any problem that why I'll keep on installing DC Moto for the quality.

Check our facebook dblcss.klg 21st January 2014. That's my own gate with DC Moto 925W. I believe in what I carry because I'm using it myself and confident enough to tell my customer DC Moto is great, durable and reliable.

And do check out another we done at Kota Damansara on 21st January 2015. Gate 8 feet tall and 12 feet long for each side. As I've told the customer as long the gate is install properly there is no problem for DC Moto to push open and close the gate. Max for DC Moto is 15 feet long.

Mine is 22x75, gate length is 13 or 13.5ft, height is 5ft. Total is 5k+- (cannot remember exact figure) for stainless steel frame with alumunium wood look like panels. But price is like last year before GST though. But my gate width is enough for 1 car to drive in. I expect that the price would have increased a little more now.

However, if you are looking for 2 cars to drive into car porch at same time, not one by one... Then you probably need a longer gate entrance.

I have decided to get DC Moto and will contact you for sure bro since you have been helping alot of LYN members.
But i want to confirm on your comment above 'Max for DC Motor is 15 feet long'?
If my gate is longer than that, i cannot use DC Moto?

i am using DCMOTO GFM905 model and recently the autogate seems like something wrong. open half way and close it back or reluctant to open it at all

what i want to know if newer board can use with GFM 905 motor ? or newer model board GFM DCMOTO only can be pair with newer motor
or can i still find GFM905 board ?
i ask the technician here they said must change whole set board and motor which i personally doubt it

Actually u can use any type of board to replace the faulty one because the motor is 12volt.
So no need to worry. Can use the new board but need to change a lot of thing transformer and receiver.

I did change a normal board to one off my customer having 905 and it work just find only cannot use the original remote. Just add a new set of remote and continue using happily.

But your problem should be due to the gear. Both side cannot open or one side. If one side take the working fix to the faulty one and try. If work then it's the motor problem. Tested one some problem like your's and after replace gear part every working fine.

Recommended is 15 feet one side. So both side is 30 feet gate.
If bigger and heavier then have to go for italy hydraulic motor liao

actually the gate can open both side to max and close like normal
there are time where it got mind of it own
1. reluctant to open at all
2. open both side half way
3. open like normal to max and suddenly close by it self.

hit my car couple of time.

so i am not sure for such cases is gear. more like board controller is going crazy
