It says here...
that my laptop could play WoW on minimum graphic settings. that's true.. but.. i always get low fps when i go places where there's a lot of other players such as ogrimmar. And i cant do any AV or WSG at all.. fps goes damn low.. it looks like it's flipping pages of a comic book.

But when i go grinding, questing, i get fps @ around 20fps. and now im wondering is this because of my low RAM capacity that i have in my laptop?
Should i not or should i upgrade the RAM to 1gb? i would love to go for 2gb, but my laptop cant. haha...

Maybe u guys were wondering why i play with a laptop,
i do have a gaming pc, but sometimes i would like to go to my friend's house and play with them, so that's why im playing with my laptop too...

I have already set to the lowest settings... BTW what does multisampling do? the lower the? the higher the? please enligthen me..

ohya.. i forgot to mention about, my RAM usage bar goes up to 550+mb when i play WoW, and having Firefox on the background, and i play WoW on window mode.

Is this significantly due to RAM? i just dun wanna rush into conclusions end up upgrading it and have no difference later..

you are using an onboard display to play WoW, what do you expect? :/

if you using 550 mb ram, and got 1gb ram, ur fine. if you only got 512mb ram, then you have to upgrade it asap as ur vram swapping already

and multisampling is similiar if not the same as anti aliasing. wikipedia it.

yes of coz i dun expect getting high fps using onboard video card, but at least.. a stable low fps rite? Like my friend he is using a celeron laptop, but 1gb ram.. he is getting stable low fps, 17 fps , no matter it's a city, instance or pvp arena. + he is using a 900 media accelerator which is not as good as what im having on my laptop.. damn im jealous..

AND also, here is the problem... my laptop uses microdimm RAMs for the add on.... which is very very rare in malaysia.. anyone knows who sells 512mb DDR2 533mhz microdimm in Malaysia? please let me know...

definately ram problem...
the problem with onboard graphic cards, especially these intel types is that they do not have independant rams... they leech it off your main mother board ram. so if ur graphic card is a 128 mb ram type, that means ur running wow with less than 512 ram...

I see... U also think it's the RAM problem rite? haish.. and now i have another problem... i need microdimm RAM which is RARE... darn it..

Im gonna try installing windows2000 to run the game. >< do u guys think it's a good idea? Windows 2000 doesnt use that much of RAM does it? For XP, it's already 250mb+ on default. NO other programmes installed, nothing at all..

Perhaps i will try using

Ok.. im going to answer you in a very polite way...

No, it will not have any problems playing the game IF u have done ur computer setups the right way. For eg, drivers properly installed, updated drivers, no virus and so on.... have fun with the game mate!
