Hello eHailing sifus.

I'm helping a fellow friend to cancel his evp. Hope pros can help me out on this thanks biggrin.gif

Lets say his details are: example

Insurance Expiry: 19/11/2022
Roadtax 13/10/2022
Puspakom: 13/10/2022

1) if he received the letter from grab to cancel evp, can he delay the time until september or october only then to go puspakom?
2) if he cancels on september, does it mean JPJ will renew his roadtax until the insurance expiry (2months)?
3) if he only have 2 months insurance left, is it possible to insist on paying 6 months fee to get 2 months roadtax just to tally the date? or JPJ wont allow it until vehicle gets at least 6 months insurance.

To my understanding, correct me if im wrong:

*) Roadtax expiry cannot be later than Insurance date.
*) Roadtax date will be the date on your Puspakom pass result. (Tukar Kegunaan), NOT the current day you go to JPJ office.

Please correct me if im wrong sad.gif, is there a way to tally back the roadtax and insurance date like a private vehicle.

1. I've cancelled my evp last year and if i were not mistaken, once EHO release cancellation letter and that letter got expired date meaning you must go puspakom check and go jpj before due date. Coz it involving APAD system.
2. And i think once you pass can change to pengunaan, you road tax will back to your previous roadtax date...and you must have valid insurance.

3. Once you done cancellation and you are back to renewable for 1year.

My suggestion is next month get EHO letter and complete all.
