I bought a SRG gas regulator with indicator in July.
It fitted nicely on the 1st Petronas 13,5kg gas cylinder. This morning i changed to another Petronas gas cylinder, it did not fit. i cannot turn the indicator to click into the cylinder fitting. Tried it on another cylinder, it did not fit too.

Does anyone have any problems on fitting the SRG regulator onto Petronas cylinders?
Is there anything i can try to fit it in?

Thanks in advance. icon_question.gif

all regulator fits with every brand

if it doesn't fit and got hissing sound when u click it
the rubber needs to be changed

which rubber u need to figure out yourself
inside the regulator there is one, inside every cylinder there is one

The thing is it fitted very well on one Petronas gas cylinder head.
But it cannot fit on 2 other cylinders. rclxub.gif

if your problem is hissing noise or leaking thn it's the rubber
if your problem is it doesn't fit thn i've never encounter this problem before
all brand's cylinder should be the same...any brand regulator should fit

Fitting is the problem.
Fits 1 cylinder but not the other 2. sad.gif

My suspicion:
The O ring from first cylinder is stuck inside the regulator when you removed the regulator.
Please compare the opening of the first cylinder with the other 2. You should be able to spot the o ring.

Nope. i tried to fit it onto the 1st cylinder and it fits well! rclxub.gif
But anyway i will try to look at the 3 cylinder heads thumbup.gif

Dey, that's why I said the O ring from the first cylinder is stuck inside the regulator.

When you try to fix the regulator into cylinder 2/3, the won't be enough space to couple the cylinder - imagine having 2 o rings instead of just one.
