As real as malay style char kuey teow. The closest thing we have to the REAL takoyaki is from Gindaco. Others are just trash.

QUOTE(BlueLion11 @ Aug 17 2022, 02:41 PM) lol last time owned by loob holdingnow no longer liao guess loob farkup hard or end of partnership QUOTE China is still its focus market, with 500 more outlets to come after first outlet opened last November. Tealive has more than 200 outlets in its home market, seven in Vietnam, two in China, and one in Australia. About one third of these are operated by franchisees. Loob Holding CEO Bryan Loo said the company is building relationships with potential business partners in Japan, Indonesia, Myanmar, Mongolia, and the UAE, while Singapore is also in its expansion plan. Apart from Tealive, Loob also runs F&B franchises in Malaysia, including Gindaco, Croissant Taiyaki, Define:food, Define:burgers and Ko Ko Kai. sos This post has been edited by DValentine: Aug 17 2022, 02:44 PM |

QUOTE(DValentine @ Aug 17 2022, 06:37 PM) I'm honestly at a lost. Either I'm too dumb to understand your point or you're too dumb to understand mine. What does having money and loob owning the rights to the Gindaco franchise here have anything to do with it ORIGINATING from Japan? Anyways, I'm too busy to argue with someone about takoyaki over the internet. Have a good day sir. |

Watch Japanese YouTubers they only put small bite size chunk of octopus into the mixture during grilling.
This one is selling baby octopus coated with pancake crust. |

I remember bought this jumbo takoyaki in Japan many years ago. They use iidako instead of normal tako.
