They cannot. Need to increase cost, means those chinaman will untung less. Their warranty also damn shitty, almost everything will tell you it's wear and tear and excluded.

Those interested in Serena can join the current gen owner's FB page and study the existing issues faced by the owners. Not saying the problem is big because I didn't really look into them but there seemed to be some issues.

1. Compressor Issue, if no warranty gg la mau tukar, 1 year + owner sudah kena
2. Absorber issue, common, rata2 sudah tukar under warranty claim
3. Hybird battery failure, kena tukar RM1k ++
4. CVT issue uncommon, masuk gear tarak gerak

Dulu punya 3 years warranty, lepas 3 years sudah macam2 rosak. Right now new batch TCM offer 5 years warranty, boleh la, tapi compressor sama je 3 years, 5 years only engine dengan gear box saja.
