Mine is an eight-year old (year 2014) HP Pavilion desktop PC with 8GB RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti.

How about yours?

Not 8th gen CPUs?

I have many 4th gen desktops and laptops at home but the majority are still on W7 or W10 depending on specs. Wanted to try W11 but the requirements are simply too much as I don't plan to throw out any old machines.

As you can see, mine is a 4th gen Intel i3-4150. Runs Windows 11 Pro very smoothly.

What advantage does win11 have that you're rushing to install it?

Windows 11 was released in October 2021, almost a year ago.

What is the rush you are talking about?

Ok win11 isnt new.
Win 10 isnt obsolete.

So. Again. What advantages does win11 have over win10?
Im on win10 now . If it isnt obsolete, why should I upgrade? Unless win11 has advantages, of which you still havent listed out after 2 or 3 exchanges .

Not as old as raynman's but it's the oldest I have. Win10 Lenovo laptop (i7 7700HQ, TPM 2.0) Upgraded to Win11 using the registry method (processor not supported.)

Running OK so far.

I like Win11 so much better than Win10. I'm a Mac user.

Of course it is up to you whether you want to move on to Windows 11 or not.

You can choose to stay with Windows 10 if you are comfortable with it.
