Can attest to that regarding Bellroy. They dont patina well coz they use vegan leather, at least mine was. Looked like shit after one year.

Bellroy Design wise very cool though..all minimalist style. but too bad the leather quality is not up to standard.

I right now use leather wallet bought from japan and made in japan..so much nicer
