If your iPhone 7 works.. why not wait. Not just usbc.

13 series, at least it’s 5g and battery powerhouse. iPhone 14 this year very incremental. It’s just buying 13 with minor stuff. I’m sure you skipped 13 for similar reasons or etc.

Iphone 14 is indeed not much of an upgrade, but I am tempted by 14 pro’s dynamic island

honestly the dynamic island is gimmicky, reminds me of the Touch 3D.

Especially if you getting iphone 14 PM, the dynamic island is way up at the top, not really finger friendly. Interesting how Apple make prioritization at the top, while Android, Samsung, Google focusing more at the bottom part of the phone.

I might be proven wrong, but it feels like MacBook "Touchbar" of iPhone. Stop gap measure, intro something new as focus, to say something new for the sake of it.

MacBook TouchBar was stopgap until redesign, more ports, card slot became the "new feature". rclxub.gif

Not buying this year.. but joining the fun.

Not sure why order from Apple MY. ITWorld still available can opt for in store pickup and same day delivery.

Hmm.. so far no YouTuber dare to show new iPhone 14 pro dynamic island while watching video or playing game horizontal mode. It’s fugly.

It’s still functional vertically.. but definitely not horizontally

1) Dynamic island
2) screen brightness when view outside in bright daylight

Can’t transfer. None of our telcos support it.

You need to re-register by getting a new esim QR code etc.

But the good thing, Apple releasing e-sim only in US, it's like a notice to other telcos to offer it, or get left out.

We all know Apple marketing and might. Look at Apple Pay buzz versus Samsung Pay. It's all good news from here.

Previously I get new phone from Apple online, I have to visit Maxis centre for the esim as well. Always one step more.

All the extended warranty usually is covered by the same company, you can purchase from here. Worth or not, depends on yourself. Caveat is within 1 month of the phone purchase or what not.
