Only models catered for China (mainland, HK & Macau but not TW) don't have this capability, possibly due to national security concerns

i think now is much more worth to buy iPhone 13 Pro Max, price starts from RM 5349 for 256GB at Switch

its just less than RM 200 difference compare to iPhone 14 of the same storage but smaller screen

what you gain is the additional tele lens, ProMotion, better battery life

better grab it while it lasts

can't brain Apple's logic when they try to cramp in the "best" possible photography and videography tech onto iPhone Pro, with ProRes, 4K, and maybe even 8K video in the future, yet still stuck at USB2 transfer speed,

even with AirDrop, theoretically the best speed is nothing more than 1200 Mbps

really can't brain them when they are willing to come up with the top SKU with 1TB storage, with the industry leading NVME SSD even Samsung flagships can't beat, only to be castrated by the 480 Mbps interface which is almost 20 year old

managed to drop by Apple store in SG

the retail assistants there can really wear shorts to work, everyday!

come to think of it, i remember our Machines staffs did wear shorts to work a while back, just few of them

one question regarding purchase thru Apple website

why is it banks will charge additional 1% on top of the invoice amount

i glanced at my invoice

the invoicing party is stated as "APPLE SOUTH ASIA PTE LTD" with SG GST number

so yeah you are right, its the cross border fee

Msian customers will continue to have to pay for it, until the day when Apple finally sets their retail foot on Malaysia soil
