Will be waiting for the release as this is my usual replacement cycle for the iPhone. Probably just pre-order it from Maxis as usual and get it delivered to the house. I hope Maxis has sorted out the whole eSim transfer thing already.

Not too sure at the moment as well, currently using the iPhone 12 Pro Max and seem to like the size of the screen. But as I do carry it together with my iPad most of the time, I might opt for the non-Max version this time and stick with just the Pro.

Now I wonder what sort of deals Maxis and the other telcos are going to give out

These days quite straight forward, but the other headache is usually if you have already completed your contract, etc..etc..

I think it is an innovation, because coming from a semi conductor background in fabrication and working in research for new materials for chips, Apple is really pushing the envelope in chip design, power, performance and heat dissipation. It is truly remarkable but unfortunately, not something a lay person might see and appreciate.
