Tried it out in person in Switch on 20th Sept when it launched, 1st impression is its definitely significantly lighter esp. if you're comparing the 16PM and 14PM, even the curved back surface makes it much comfortable to hold for longer periods of time. Bezels are thinner too.

By comparing between 14 pro max and 16 pro max. I think you might not able to notice how much different. Both just looks same only.
My 14 pro max will keep for using as works only because too many company whatsapp group notifications and feel very disturbing. I bought one more 16 pro max with another personal private number. So I want watch video, youtube etc without notifications disturbing.
I think you all might not able to differentiate which one is 14pm and 16pm. I only can differentiate them by using different phone casing. 14pm is slightly shorter screen size but heavier than 16pm but I cannot say 16pm is light. Both also feels heavy but 14pm is even heavier.
