I have been holding out from upgrading because I hate the notch ever since it was introduced. I plan to upgrade after a new model with no compromise like the notch is out but now we got an island pulak. I have a feeling the island is not going away in the next iPhone iteration so I may have to suck it up and put up with the island😔.

I would like to ask regarding ordering from Apple Malaysia.
I placed the order on 12.04 am September 16th together with the dual 35 W charger.
The card has already charged me for the charger, and it is on its way. Courier GDEX. (I thought it was supposed to be DHL?).

The listed estimated delivery for 14 PM is on 28th, but my card is yet to be charged.
How long will it take for the card to be charged? Has anyone who ordered from Apple Malaysia got their card charged already?

I decided to order from Apple Malaysia when Celcom queued me at 700+ something. When I woke up in the morning, got SMS that said it was my turn to order....at 1.00 am  .

Migrating from Iphone 12 Pro Max (Celcom contract) since the display is showing  a strip of light after I accidentally dropped it on floor.

Hahaha, gotta love those “forced” purchases! My wife says she doesn’t like the pill and prefers the notch so she told me to get the 14 Pro Max for myself and she’ll keep her 13 Pro Max till next year. I usually pass her the latest iPhone after a month or two of usage but this round she doesn’t want the new toy - so lucky me? One thing is for certain though, the 14 Pro Max won’t have as stellar a battery life as the 13 Pro Max. Almost every review I’ve read or seen confirms this

Anyone knows when the apple 3rd batch will come? I am looking for 14 pro max silver 256/512G but authorized dealer like Senheng / ITworld is out of stock. Reason is because they provide 2 yrs warranty.

If anyone knows, please share with me. I wondering how long need to wait for 3rd batch

Should I wait for Senq / Senheng? Are they reliable source to provide Apple phone?

I remember last year I wait them to restock Z Fold3 and get nothing after waited for 1 month, and end up to buy from other Authorized Dealer.

My 2nd choice will be Switch or ITWorld. But Look at history, ITWorld always get delayed. And Switch I have to pay rm49 for SURE extended warranty for 2nd year.

Hmm.. so far no YouTuber dare to show new iPhone 14 pro dynamic island while watching video or playing game horizontal mode. It’s fugly.

It’s still functional vertically.. but definitely not horizontally

Get the “Smoked” variant bro, then confirm won’t yellow, haha.. I mean it’s not as sexy as the clear one and probably hides the nice colour of your phone but if you plan to keep it long term, it’s probably the better choice. I think all clear cases will yellow over time, I had a Spigen and Otterbox one in the past and they also turn yellow just over a year. I can’t justify buying expensive cases anymore since I don’t keep my phones for more than a year, haha.. I use to budget RM150 for a case but I’ve trimmed that down to below RM100 these days

As for the phone, the purple is abit like grey under most lighting situations.
First impressions is it is very heavy compared to my previous one plus 8.
Much thicker and heavier.
Using YouTube seems to have surprised me as the speakers has a "6D" surround sound ish properties.
Have not able to try the camera yet which is the main selling point for me, but hopefully soon.

Battery life is quite average, from 5pm-11.30pm
100 to 34% within that time using it almost full time, setting up phone/Spotify/YouTube/netflix and etc
Maybe another patch will improve the battery life.

On the display is bothering me abit, feels like alot of battery is being used for the ondisplay, I will turn it off today to check the battery life

I ordered from IT World at 12.07 and was changed to Batch 2 via call by their staff.

Now, If I placed order on Shopee also batch 2 but has free charger. Can shopee be cancelled if IT world dont let me drop tomorrow?

Decision is on seller. Once they provide the shipping order, they have right to reject your cancellation.

Also depends on seller is good or not.

Yesterday I place order at Shopee Machines, within 3mins they generated shipping order and cancellation will need their approval. So not easy to get seller approval to cancel.

Another way is, when they deliver to your doorstep, you reject to accept, then they will do full refund to you. Please read the FAQ.

Now he order shopee IT World .. means will get free charger + 2 yrs warranty both together.

After booking and confirmed pre order for my iphone 14p deep purple 256gb zerolution, I suddenly feel like not getting it. I read the faq it’s can’t be cancelled. Anyone has experience last minute not getting it when the item arrives? Will there be any penalty say if we ffk on the day?

Yeah that’s what I thought too after reading the faq. Maybe will just take it. But will still give maxis a call to see how.

Nobody answer my question that day but in the end I was managed to grab my iPhone 14 Pro Max 512GB 1st batch from Switch.
I still prefer to local authorized reseller because they have ready stock on hands unlike the Apple store need to wait 3-4 weeks for the delivery from China.

How I wish I can do that but it’s tied with 24months contract so can’t be sold off just like that.

I think will just get it and sold of my current phone instead. Cheers man 😊

I am using Maxis. Does anyone knows if we can transfer e-SIM from older iPhone to the 14 without having to generate new e-SIM from Maxis?

I asked Switch Lazada store. They say can add. Contact through chat.
I just walked out of  Switch paradigm. Also say can add  Sure Warranty, bring phone and receipt.

i always get Hoda @ RM 69, it lasts me throughout the year, no scratches, no dents etc... but my usage is minimal..oleophobic coating is good and can feel the coat even after a year...cheap and affordable, if break it by accident, change another one only at 69

Oh man, I just called Maxis and yes, have to walk in and change the e-SIM. What a bummer! Why can’t they just let us use the feature in iOS 16!
