Hi guys, just want to ask for those who using maxis, does ur volte works all the time? Notice my ip14p sometime at my house also call drop to E/2G...but when received call it does stay at 4G, and volte works..appreciate if anyone can help thanks

Do bear in mind that VoLTE doesn't work when there is no 4G coverage. In your case, most likely there is no strong 4G coverage in your house and hence the phone switches to E/2G.

Haha... tbh I only like the 5G display on my phone. Other than that, for normal surfing, fb and youtube I dont feel there is much of a need for 5G speeds.

Day to day usage memang no difference. It is only when you are downloading huge files, you can feel the difference.

Just imagine it’s like ur phone connected to 300mbps of speed from your Unifi or Maxis Fibre router at home.

The only difference with 5G is , you are now connecting to data tower located all over the city.

Also 5G will spend a lot of of your phone battery trying to connect to towers far away. Hence your phone battery life will be reduced quickly if you often use 5G.

Just inquire, I just bought an iPhone 14PM for my wife

Any sapphire screen protector to recommend that's safe to use with cases? Since the iPhone price like gold, might as well protect it best2.

Thanks

I'm using black Apple leather case with iMOS Sapphire glass (from @silencer5089) on my 13PM. It still looks like I just bought it recently even though it's been more than a year haha

Well if you want to spend more than RM100 for a screen protector, then sapphire glass type is a way to go.

What about chargers, any PD 20W charger for the 14PM is good enough right?
No need 30W charger right?

Dun want to buy the overly expensive apple charger.

One more thing, 14PM still using lightning cable right?

It's only expensive because sapphire glass is second hardest transparent material after diamond, the lens on the rear camera and display on steel Apple Watches also use sapphire glass. Since they're so tough, usually they only crack instead of showing scratches (sand/dirt/metals aren't hard enough to scratch it)

you can use any charger with USB Power Delivery (PD) to charge iPhone, but iPhone requires at least 20W PD to fast charge (max supported is 30W, but it's only faster by like 10-15 minutes).

I recommend you get USB-certified ones that use newer gallium-nitride (GaN) technology since these chargers don't heat up at all while fast charging, like this one from Anker

Thank you for the advice.

Hi all. Is there any difference in buying iPhone 14 Pro Max from Machines/Switch and external suppliers (ZP/ZA set).

Can ZP/ZA set be repaired in Machines?
