oh crap, forget to back up the whatapps chat on the old phone, changed the sim card then activated whatapps, then ignore to backup, since it state no backup available. Now all history chat hilang... adui

I move from IPhone XS. So this features I never use before.
When I set up my new iPhone 14. One of the page ask me to bring my old iPhone nearby and it’s will copy all my old iPhone into new iPhone.
What I want to know is, will all my photo, messages, whatapps, songs, video, game save files, game setting and etc etc will be transfer into new iPhone? And do I need to backup my old iPhone first?
Last time when I move from my iPhone 7 to Xs I need to fully backup my old phone before I use my new phone.

Iphone 14 pro max here with iOS16.0.2 , When open Camera App, its blank for 3-4 seconds before i can start to take pics. Change to protrait mode, it blur for few secs before can take pic.
Already force restart, factory reset with iMAC, all no help

Really bad luck this time.

Okay. Let me explain this. For purchases through Apple.MY (where we dont have a physical Apple Store here in MY), your order actually goes to Apple.Sg. Apple.SG then sends your order to their warehouse in Shenzhen that will ship your unit from there directly to your address here in Malaysia.

But bewarn, if you look at your order/shipping pattern you will see a mery go round where you will see your order being rerouted around and hence the confusion. But like mentioned, your order practically goes around the above order I mentioned.

And no, Apple SG wont ship from their SG warehouse because inventory for Malaysia is different from theirs. So Shenzhen is like their warehouse HQ where they shipped out your phones.

Resellers stocks are different from Apple's own inventory and hence the difference in shipping time and stock availabiity. Apple.my used to be the ship out on time and have the largest available stock in the previous years but this year it seems to be the other way round.

Hope my explanation clears your confusion.

This is what I meant. The same focus length, iPhone 13 Pro Max still can focus while 14 pro max unable to focus anymore on the main camera.

My previous iPhone also uses esim. When transfer to new iPhone from esim to esim at maxis center, they have difficulty in activating the new esim as the old esim somehow still working. After spending like 2 hours at Maxis center, they still failed to activate the new esim. Escalated the matter to Maxis technical team and being told to go home and wait for current esim to deactivate before scan again the new we code.
After 6 hours finally my current iPhone esim have been disable and then I am able to add new esim to new device.

Ps: I did ask to use back physical sim from esim but unfortunately still same issue. So not about esim or physical sim. Is actually maxis technical pb

Btw I am not being charge for changing to esim. Not sure the cs is correct or will be charge to my monthly bil
